CZ 75 SHADOW Custom Shop

This is undoubtedly the finest 9mm handgun I have ever shot, in my opinion it is unbeatable, smooth trigger, operates flawlessly. is most accurate hand gun I've ever shot.

Wow- I'm blown away by this pistol and CZCustom's work. I've always joked that all my guns shoot better than I do, so it probably wasn't worth it getting a lot of custom work done. Boy, was I wrong! I got the pistol and took it to the range, within a box of ammo, I was shooting it better than my Glock 34. I took it to a match the following day and shot much better than I have in the past. Kudo's to Angus, Rob and your gunsmiths- it is my favorite gun, by far! Great work!

I've been a SIG and custom 1911 person for years. I recently bought a CZ75 Shadow Custom after reading positive remarks about the gun and Angus's work. I must say I'm sincerely impressed. This gun has the smoothest double action I have ever "squeezed" on an autoloader. It's accurate with a wide range of ammo, has a great fit. I also love the "reversed rails" (like an old P210). The only downside is the surface finish could be offered in something "tougher" for "gaming" use but I'll take care of that later with CCR Ceraplate or Robar NP3. I may be in financial trouble as I want more of this kind of product. As long as CZ's quality stays high, I'm sold. Angus and CZ have put together a nice package.

I've had my Shadow Custom for a week now, only had it to the range one time, about 300 rounds. The Shadow is scary accurate, it's my fourth CZ and I love it! Thanks Angus, Eric, and Rob!

What is there to say? The Pistol is extra nice. Trigger reset is extra short for a DA/SA. I can definitely tell there is no Firing Pin Block on the DA pull. The SP-01 Shadow makes it nice and easy to buy a stock pistol that comes without the FPB. But the Custom is also nice for all the tuning that went into it. The polishing of parts is very noticeable compared to my friend's stock SP-01 Shadow. Two things to keep in mind though. Stock CZ-75 16rnd magazines from the factory or from Mec-Gar have a little hangup, so they don't drop free until they are broken in, but don't fret that. Some of the bluing on my Mec-Gar magazines had to rub off before reliably dropping free. The stock 18 round mags have no problem. Solution, just practice about 50 mag changes per mag and they should be good to go. The other thing is that the grips that come with the Custom are not the same grip tape kind as in the picture. The pistol came with the thin checkered one labeled “BLACK Border Checker,” item 10154. It would be nice to have a choice of available grips for the Custom SP-01 Shadow, Or change the picture to match which grips come with the gun. With all that said, I've owned a few handguns and shot a lot more. This one still gets 5 stars for it's ergonomics, extra nice trigger, great sights, and smooth tuned action. Wither it's the balance or the spring tuning I can't tell, but the gun just falls right back to where it should. It really makes two alpha on any target that much easier and faster. My friend and I both bought SP-01 Shadows (he got his from Matt Mink) and I think we have just started the unofficial Team CZ in the Cedar Vally. We are hooked. He's ditching his Sig, I've ditched my HK, and all of our buddies with Glocks are thinking twice. This pistol is the real deal. Thanks Angus and every one at CZ-Custom. Jesse W.
