Cool...but not very functional

I'm only giving this 3 stars because it is pretty cool looking...........
I bought this with the idea in mind that every gun needs a bayonet, j/k, but not really. This is a cool little toy/accessory to have if you want to take pics to send to friends or to just show your CZ off to someone but outside of that it really doesn't work. First, the blade has no edge on it to speak of so without sharpening this thing could slice through water. Second, the blade and the front bludgeoning parts are the only metal on it the rest is plastic/polymer (and not high quality either). I would have rather CZ made the Tactical block one solid piece of aluminum or metal (thats right it's two separate pieces) and dealt with the extra weight (which i would have anyways because I keep a tactical surefire light on the front). Third, if CZ is going to make the block half metal half plastic at least allow it to last through one magazine (19 rounds...18+1) before it completely fell apart. Yep I almost killed myself with the tactical block started shifting over in the line of fire of my barrel, yeah not good. And by falling apart once again the front metal portion separated from the rear plastic portion via 2 metal screws that held it together. Even after applying some lock-tight and letting it set up it still fell apart the next time I went to the range. Like I said if you want to up the aesthetically cool factor of your pistol with this then by all means get it. Otherwise put the $100 towards a couple more magazines or new sights or something that will actually work in the guns favor. If CZ asked me how I would improve this piece I would say: 1. Make the block one solid piece (preferably metal/AL.), 2. A shorter blade length (nothing over 4" I would say) 3. Keep the front of the block the same, I could see myself using it to gun-punch someone in the head with it. I would only recommend this to a friend as long as they promise not to bring it to the range or use for anyting other then pics
