So what makes a great rifle, barrel, action, stock and magazine. Remington 541 series had almost all of these but the magazines are the most mickey mouse crap to come out since the remington iron sights. Now The CZ 452 series is a superior rifle in all respects. And NO FEEDING Problems with the metal magazines, yes the cost a little more but they are very well made. So I had a Remington 541X, S and T HB, not I have a CZ 452 2E and FS FAR SUPERIOR. Sorry remington. you have lost your edge. These magazines are worth every penny.
