CZ 75 SP01 SHADOW Custom Black

I have had this gun for about 3 months, and have just shot the snot out of it (approx 4500 rounds, a lot for me), there hasn't been a single gun malfunction or hicup of any kind. I use to shoot one of the higher dollar pistols but, enough said about that. If anyone really wants to enjoy the sport of USPSA Production, in my opion this is the only way to go. I just started USPSA this year and have been spending more time on the practice range than shooting range but I will get there eventually. I highly recomment the Angus touched Shadow.

I like the weight and feel of the CZs better than my polymer-framed guns, especially for competition. The first thing I noticed when I got the Shadow was the very short trigger reset compared to the Tactical. The overall "trigger job" on this pistol is wonderful, and the quality of the pistol is simply excellent, both inside and out. CZ Custom can build the Shadow to order with some of your preferences (magazine release switched for lefties, different grips, different sights) at little additional cost, so I suggest talking with them before you order so that you get exactly that you want. I made two very minor improvements to make my Shadow work better in competition: I polished the feed ramp and stripped the finish off the magazines so that they are shiny. The former was done to eliminate feeding problems when soot built up on the ramp, the latter was done to get the magazines to drop free quickly. Parts for these pistols are not exorbitantly priced, and the service and responsiveness you get from CZ Custom/Ghost Products are the best I've ever seen from anyone in that business. Although $1,200 is not a small sum, if you spend it on a Shadow you will receive excellent value and performance, and you'll never regret the purchase.

Just got it a couple of weeks ago. It's awesome. very accurate. Shot an egg, standing free style, at 25 yards, on my third round. Better than the gun is the service @ this CZ Custom Shop. It's one of the best in the industry. Thanks, Rob.

I simply couldn't be more impressed with this pistol. It is accurate and flawlessly reliable. The additions to the pistol that were made by the CZ custom shop are superb. Both the DA/SA trigger pulls are very smooth and light with no creep at all. Mag changes are very smooth due to the extended magazine release, positive latch engagement, and magazine/mag well design. I definitely feel like I got my money's worth with this purchase.

I received my shadow custom today and took it the range immediately.I'm no gun expert by any stretch but WOW!!I have shot most of the high end 1911's(though I don't own any)and I would take the shadow any day and twice on tuesday!I ran 300 rounds through her with out a hiccup!Accuracy is off the the chart and the reset is so short it has to be felt to believed.Double taps and rapid fire are a breeze!Congrats to the whole CZ custom staff and especially Rob for being so helpful.THANKS!!!!
