I received my CZ Shadow T Custom on Thursday 12-6 and was just now able to go to the range 12-12 to shoot it for the first time. I have shot alot of handguns and this by far is the most perfect gun i have EVER shot. It was so worth the wait, this gun far surpasses my abilities, i am in just one visit shooting at farther distances with tighter groupings then i ever have before. From the trigger job to the sights and the balance i could not be happier. I want to thank Robert for his time in answering all of my questions and i also want to thank Stuart for all of his help and follow up for getting me the gun i ordered. CZ Custom should be proud of the product they are sending out, on my first range visit i put approx 250 rounds through my gun without one failure. If you are thinking at all about purchasing a quality custom handgun you can't go wrong with the Shadow T, not only does it shoot amazing it looks awesome also. Well worth every penny, i highly recommend this gun.

I ordered this pistol with the CZ Custom all straight SA trigger with the .100" wide blade. I've shot Sig, XDm, 90s era Smith, Beretta, Dan Wesson and Springfield 1911s, and the CZ SP-01. Out of all these pistols the Shadow T is in a field of its own. 1. Trigger, straight is better than curved. You can adjust the pad of your finger up and down the trigger to get as much or little travel as you want. It's light and breaks light and in my opinion is better than a 1911s. Why? 1911 triggers seem to break heavier and transmit more vibration. Reset is also light and travels just enough that it enables you to purposefully and comfortably take that next shot. 2. Grips, smooth is more comfortable than checkering. Compared to the SP-01 factory checkered rubber grips, the aluminum grips are a must. I don't think I ever want to shoot my SP-01 again unless I had these grips. Thinning the grip down made the pistol feel less bulky and gave me more control. The grip tape isn't really noticeable but gave you just enough of a positive feel. 3. Sights, impacts wherever the front sight is pointed. I've never had an easier or more accurate time shooting. Will also allow me to adjust for future reloads. Fiber optics are a must. 4. Accuracy, this gun will actually make you shoot better and with just a small amount of practice will make you look like a pro. I noticed a drastic improvement going from my SP-01 to the Shadow. With careful aim I was able to bring groups to within an inch at about 10 yards with a rate of fire of about 1 every 2-3 seconds. Gun capable of more. 5. Weight, perfect balance. Seems faster and easier to reacquire sight picture than with the light XDm or the heavier SP-01 or 1911. It's a happy median where the weight controls just enough of the recoil but isn't too heavy where you have to manhandle the handgun. 6. Basepad, additional contact and control surface. Form follows function. Priceless handgun.

I ordered one of these with a SAO trigger and couldn't be happier. In this price range I haven't yet found another pistol I would buy instead. Low recoil, great trigger, nice sights and well balanced. I expect to shoot a little better I'm my next match with this one.
