The JP-15 Precision Rifle series is a general purpose rifle that has all the performance features of the CTR-02, but packed into less expensive, but high quality 7075 mil-spec forged JP receivers. If you started with stripped receivers or bought some other rifle and started to upgrade and did your own build with the same quality of components, you’d spend at least that and probably more. I can’t tell you how many times I heard a customer say “I could have had a JP!” after spending more than $2K on a rifle project that still didn’t equal the quality and performance of a JP-15 Precision Rifle.

In case you were not aware, JP was the first company to offer truly high grade AR type rifles. I remember stopping in at gun stores years ago (back in the mid to late 90’s) when I first started building rifles. At that time, we had one rifle based on forged receivers from another manufacture and essentially built a “parts” gun using our components. The retail price was about $1300. The owners of these stores couldn’t even imagine why anyone would pay over $600-$700 for an AR-15 type rifle. I had no alternative but to go direct to you, the customer and the rest is history. You did get the message!

 

Now our rifles are based on a components system that we have complete control over in terms of design, component manufacturing and final assembly. Other than grips and butt stocks, JP rifles are designed from the ground up to yield a level of performance obtainable only through the use of integrated components systems rather than the pick-and-choose “parts” gun approach.

Now, I never thought I’d hear myself say that we were less expensive than other competing rifles as we have in fact been on the high end of it from the start. How times have changed! I was looking at other AR web sites recently and noticed that virtually every manufacture of so called black rifles has models that sell for close to or considerable more than $2000. Most of these are nothing more than production grade rifles with a few extra upgrades. I can honestly say that none of them comes close in build quality or component innovation and quality to a JP rifle. Ask anyone that owns a JP and they will tell the same story. They all can thank JP for actually convincing the customer that it makes sense to pay $2000-$3000 for an AR-15 type rifle. The difference is that we actually deliver a rifle that is WORTH that kind of money. I know how hard you’ve worked for your money, so don’t waste it on something less.

You’re probably asking, “Why haven’t I seen a JP rifle on the cover of XYZ magazine or much press on JP rifles?”. Good question. The fact is, we’ve always been up to capacity with orders by word of mouth only and have never needed to do much conventional advertising. Bear in mind that all those articles you read are bought and paid for with big ad contracts. Most have little connection with reality.
