Why is shipping one small part so much?

We get this question frequently.

We ship Priority mail with the post office since it has tracking. We have tried in the past to ship First Class Mail but due to the high incident of lost parcels we were forced to stop this practice. We have to pay transaction fees to the credit card companies, website hosting companies and the employees that monitor pack and ship the orders.

So while I agree that shipping can be high for a small item the cost of the small order is higher than you might realize. Most companies have a minimum order of $25 or higher and charge a fee for a smaller order.

We don’t follow that practice.

Perhaps add some other items to the order like recoil springs they "per CZ-UB" should be changed every 3000 rounds anyway.
